Do you know that:

 *  More than eight and a half times as many people entered Kentucky public libraries as attended men’s and women’s basketball and men’s football games (2007 season) at UK , UL, KSU, EKU, NKU, WKU, Murray State, and Morehead State combined.

*  If the amount of books in Kentucky public library collections (8,601,945) were stacked side by side they would cover the entire length of Mammoth Cave , the world’s largest cave system at 365 miles.

 *  Over 120,000 mint juleps were served at the 2007 Kentucky Derby, about one per hour of bookmobile service in Kentucky during the past fiscal year

Hot Spot: The library has added six wireless laptops for patron's internet access. We also have six PCs for patron use. Our wireless access can also be used with your personal laptop. Ask at the front desk for the password.
